In this research, frictions stir welding of aluminum alloy AA2024 and with its similar plate having a cross section 100 x 50 5 mm. The work piece is heating variation temperature holding time cooled it in water. Heat treated work-piece welded by friction process tool rotation speed other parameters are constant for all experiment. For experiment design using the selected control Temperature, three each levels has been designing based on L9 Orthogonal Array (OA). After welding, specimen tested mechanical properties such as tensile strength Charpy Test respectively. results show that impact test stress increased increase parameter level. optimum maximum joints optimized.
